Question

In June, the deaths of many refugees in the Mediterranean received a lot of attention. At the same time, a new proposal for the Common European Asylum System was developed at the EU level. At its core, it aims to declare most neighboring countries of the EU as safe countries of origin and to have asylum procedures for the EU carried out there. How do you assess this proposal?
