en-GBDer Datensatz "Rassistische Realitäten" basiert auf einem computergestützten Telefoninterview zum Thema Rassismus in Deutschland. Die Querschnittsbefragung wurde zwischen April und August 2021 durchgeführt. Die Stichprobe für die Umfrage wurde zufällig gezogen, indem ein dual-frame-Ansatz verwendet wurde, der sowohl Festnetz- als auch Mobiltelefonnummern umfasste und Befragte im Alter von 14 Jahren oder älter einschloss. Die Studie wurde vom Deutschen Zentrum für Integrations- und Migrationsforschung (DeZIM) im Rahmen des Nationalen Monitorings von Diskriminierung und Rassismus (NaDiRa) konzipiert und die Befragung vom Markt- und Meinungsforschungsinstitut BIK ASCHPURWIS + BEHRENS GmbH durchgeführt. Die in diesem Datensatz enthaltenen Fragen konzentrieren sich mehrheitlich auf die Frage, wie sich die deutsche Bevölkerung mit dem Thema Rassismus auseinandersetzt. Dies umfasst u.a. direkte und indirekte Erfahrungen von Rassismus, Kontakt zu von Rassismus betroffenen Personen im eigenen Umfeld, rassistische Einstellungen, die Anerkennung und Leugnung von Rassismus in Deutschland sowie antirassistisches Engagement.
deThe dataset “racist realities” is based on a computer-assisted telephone interview on the subject of racism in Germany. The cross-sectional survey was conducted between April and August 2021. The sample for the survey was randomly drawn by using a dual-frame approach that comprised of both landline and mobile phone numbers, and included respondents aged 14 or older. The study was conceived by the German Centre for Integration and Migration Research (Deutsches Zentrum für Integrations- und Migrationsforschung e.V., or DeZIM) as part of the German National Monitoring of Discrimination and Racism (NaDiRa). The market and opinion research institute BIK ASCHPURWIS + BEHRENS GmbH was commissioned to conduct the survey. The provided data focuses on the question on how the German population deals with the topic of racism. This includes direct and mediated experiences of racism, contact to racialized persons, racist attitudes, the acknowledgement and denial of racism in Germany as well as antiracist engagement.
